Earth Day

We had alot of fun today for Earth Day. Shaley had stayed the night and we got up and went to church. After church we had a picnic on the front lawn. The day was just beautiful and we had to be outside. The girls played tetherball. We took Shaley home right before we went to grandma Joys and grandpa Johns.

When at grandma and grandpas we went exploring. Jeremy was looking for a old tree that had a hole in it so it could be used as a fort. Evan went with him for awhile but Jeremy ended up having to finding it on his own. We also hung out in our camping chairs in the yard. Caitlyn worked on some paperwork for her diner. We played croquet. It was fun.

Grandma Joy and Grandpa John offered to take us to dinner and we went to Golden Corral. It was really yummy. Even Jeff found something he could eat. He rarely goes out to eat with us so it was a real treat. We had pizza, salad, steak, potatoes, rolls and of course dessert. They have the Chocolate Wonderfall and we had cookies dipped in chocolate and fancy candy corn the was yellow, pink, purple, blue and green (instead of the orange, yellow and white traditional ones).

We played outside a little more after dinner was over. Caitlyn did her reading in the back of the van and Evan played in the seats. We just did not want the day to come to an end. We did not do anything to help the environment but we sure enjoyed what God provides for us.
