Sunday Fun Day!

We were up really late from the poker party the night before but we got up and went to church and since Missy was here we needed to do something fun. We went Mini Golfing and we had a blast. The weather was beautiful again today. Caitlyn was the score keeper. Evan kept cheating. He would put his ball right by the hole and put it in. Sometimes he would just throw the ball in the hole and be done with it. The rest of us did our best. Some of the holes we had 8 which is the max we could get on a hole but the swings were actually in the teens. Still lots of fun.

After golfing a little batting practice. We all did really good. We each got 16 balls and hit most of them.

Then across the way to Strawberry Lanes for some bowling. We had some good games. Evan really likes bowling. He did step on the foul line a couple of times and that scared him pretty bad. We did have a little bowling alley snack. We just cannot go bowling without snacks!

Our scores! Missy was the ultimate winner, then Felicia, then Karen and lastly but not leastly Jeremy.

Caitlyn and Evan did pretty well too but they had bumpers.

Jeremy's Birthday Poker Party

Jeremy had lots of friends and family over for his birthday party. He BBQ'd and we all played poker. It was a fun night. Evan helped daddy blow out the candles on his cake. Of course there was cake and ice cream. Jeremy, Bryan, Jeff, Scott, Mos, John, Bill, Felicia, Melissa, Shawn and Eric all played. Grandma Joy and Grandma Karen stopped by for awhile but did not play. Jeff won! Melissa came in 2nd. Then a few of the guys stayed and played LEGO Star Wars.

The perfect burger!

Playing video games

Picnic and beach days

Today was beautiful we got some McDonalds and had a picnic at the park by our house. The kids ran around and played. They went on the swings and even mommy went on the swings.

Lake Goodwin: After work today we went to Lake Goodwin to swim. It was a very warm day. The trees shaded most of the water and beach by the time we got there but we didn't care we swam anyway.

And then a little fun time at the park area.

Forks Road Trip: Day 2

Day 2 July 20th: Today we went first thing to the Chamber of Commerce to go inside. They have lots of information on Twilight and events going on in the area. I did get trivia questions , it was based on the books. I did not do very well eventhough I have read the books more than once. I of course got my pictures with the characters.

We went to the Timber Museum, it was fun to see all the old tools the loggers used and pictures from years back.

Bella's House. We are still deciding if it really looks like it or not.

Lunch Time. They even have a Twilight Menu

Crossing into LaPush. Watch that treaty line. We went to First Beach. It was beautiful. It was still a little cloudy  but it was really pretty. Crazy Caitlyn and Elicia got most of there body wet in the water. Victoria just stuck her feet in. Deborah and I just had a lot of sand in our shoes. It was Quileute Days this weekend at LaPush. We were going to miss it but vendors were starting to set up and get ready for there annual festival.

We visited Jacob's house and motorcycle.

Back on Vampire land.

We hiked on Marymere Falls. We had to hike up a big hill to get to the falls but it was well worth it. The weather was beautiful. Caitlyn did the hike in flip flops, Crazy girl.

Port Angeles: The resturant they are featuring Bella's meal Mushroom Ravioli at Bella Italia. We did not eat there but lots of people said it was really good.

Purple Haze Lavendar Farm. It was really pretty to look at all the lavendar. They have in Sequim. It was amazing all the shades of purple. They were having there Lavendar Festival. We got there right at the end of the festival. The kids loved looking at a peacock that just had babies 2 days earlier. They were really cute.

Dinner: Las Palomas.

The girls got a little giggly on the way home. Too much fun and not enough sleep.

Ferry ride home. It was really nice

Wonderful friends & family. Laughs. It was truely a great time. I hope we can do it again sometime.
