Advent time is not a safe time!

We are doing a study on Advent. And we had our 4 candles lit for the occasion. We were at Karen's house ( my mom). We were singing JOY TO THE WORLD and apparently my plate got too close to the candles and then there was fire and lots of it.

The table cloth was not so lucky. It does only  have a few burn marks in it. (Those are our lyrics to Joy to the World)

Still smiling. We survived.

Santa Firetruck

Each year the Arlington Fire Department comes around collecting donations for the Arlington Food Bank. Santa comes and passes out candy canes to the kids.

This picture does not do the firetruck justice. It was decorated very nice.

All before work

It was so cold outside this spiderweb was frozen but it looked really cool

Gingerbread Houses

Each year English Crossing Elementary does a FREE Gingerbread House Night. They provide the graham crackers and icing and just ask that you bring some candy. It was a super fun night!
