More Snow Days

01/17/2012 Grandma Karen stayed home with the kids today. Mommy and Daddy had to work. They played in the snow and made 3 huge snowballs and a snowchair for Evan. They had fun.

Superman came to save the day and shoveled the driveway. Our superhero!

Evan had fun throwing snowballs at daddy

Caitlyn just liked eating the snowballs.

Grandma Karen watched the kids again today. She took them on a walk thru the snow to Alfy's Pizza. They played games and ate pizza. There was even some left over for my dinner!!

How beautiful the trees are!

The lights were flickering so got out our headlights. They are really nice lights we got from Grandpa John for Christmas. Thankfully we have not had to use them yet.

Snow Day

It was a fun snow day. We stayed inside the house for most of the day. We did get outside this afternoon and evening for some fun.

It was a good day all around. We hope for some more snow.

Who new a box could be so much fun

We got a storage organizer for Evan's room. We put it together and of course he wants to play with the box. We have cut a front window in it and a back window.

Caitlyn's 10th Birthday Party

We went to Alfy's Pizza.

 Swimming at MPHS pool

We went to Red Robin for dinner after swimming for so long. We had Elicia joining us. The kids both ordered Riblets. They were messy.

6th Annual Scrapbook Retreat 2012

This year I had a great time at our Annual Scrapbook retreat. We had so many laughs and I am very blessed to have such wonderful women to spend my time with. It is 1 AM and I am blogging. This week really messed with my schedule. I am feeling wide awake and ready for a movie. I don't think we went to bed before midnight any given night and some were up until 3am or later. Long days. The snack counter. It seemed like everytime I turned around another candy/cookie/cracker was being put on the counter. Boy were they YUMMY!

It's the final count down. Only 1 hour left and Cheri has not really started to clean up yet. Yikes

Never fear we got out of there right on time. It was such a great week. I am already excited for next year and coming up with book ideas now. I hope everyone can make it next year and maybe even more!!
