Camping last day Aug 27th

It turned out to be a nice day again. So everything was drying. That was nice so we did not have to pack up too much wet stuff.

One last run on the beach

We stopped at a family fun center and rode the go karts and played mini golf. It was alot of fun.

 

We were ready for lunch next. We stopped at a Mexican restuarant. It was yummy!

Of course we had to get a blizzard at DQ too.

 

We had a great 4 days of camping. Can't wait until next years trip...

Camping Day 3 Aug 26th

The weather was not ideal today. It was cold and rainy. Bill, Shawn, Jeremy and Missy we fishing on the columbia today. The fish were not bitting as much as we would like. Missy caught the big one. It was close to 30 pounds and Jeremy caught a little one. They seem to have fun though. We tried to make makeshift covers so we could sit by the fire and not get wet. It did not work very well. We were wet all day.

Camping Day 2 Aug 25th

Melissa (the girlscout) made a box oven and we cooked biscuits while mom made they gravy and sausage. They were really yummy. Today is another beautiful day!

Caitlyn and Shaley got wet then rolled down the sandy hill and were all covered in sand. Shaley is showing off her muscle man pose all sandy.

 

Camping Day 1 Aug 24th

This year our big camping trip was to Cannon Beach, OR. We met up with Missy there and Granpa Bill, Grandma Karen, Uncle Shawn, Jeremy, Felicia, Caitlyn, Evan, Shaley and of course Honey Dog were there. We had an afternoon snack before we went to the beach.

This is Haystack Rock. It was in Goonies. We did bring the movie along to watch. The sun was shinning and it was just beautiful!

Onto day 2...

Lots of friends this week

This week we watched all 5 of Cheri's girls so she could take her mom to an appointment. It was alot of fun. The kids played together. Even swam for a minute or two. It was too cold they said.

Later in the week we watched Trevor, Kara and Allison so Scott and Jackie could go out for there anniversary. We had pizza for dinner and played. It was alot of fun. Caitlyn mainly took care of everyone. It was easy for me.

 

 

Jeremy's Company Picnic

It was a beautiful day for Jeremy's company picnic. We paddle boated, ate, golfed, visited with friends. It was a great day. Lord Hill Farms is very beautiful.
