Haircuts...

We decided to all get haircuts. It was a really fun outing. The first time all 4 of us had got our haircut together. Evan looks like a handsome little man and Caitlyn is a beautiful young lady.

Praise and Promise Christmas Program

This is Evan's first year of Preschool and they are doing a Christmas program. They are getting all lined up and ready to start the show. Evan is a Christmas cookie. The kids sang about 7 songs and did little hand motions to go with it. It was a great show and lots of family and friends showed up to see.

Surprise!!!

This year we decided to surprise the kids with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge. We met at the resturant Country Cousins about 10 minutes south of GWL. Auntie Missy met us there. The kids thought that was the surprise until they opened the card that said here is some spending money for Great Wolf Lodge this weekend. The kids were really excited and Caitlyn could not keep her smile off her face. This was an extra special trip too because it was uncle Shawn's first time.

 

The Lodge was all decorated for Christmas. We got to meet Santa

 There was a really cute Gingerbread House you could pay to eat in.

 

The Howling Tornado a favorite and the River Canon Run was fun too.

Evan preferred the purple slide, I think he went on it about 100 times

 

Some woke up to snow on Saturday morning. Then while at the lodge we looked out the window and saw some wet snow falling. And yes it did snow inside too. It was truely a winter wonderland.

Christmas Tree

This year we went to the Dietlins tree farm. They had lots of trees to chose from. It took us a little while to find the perfect one.

 

Then we had to size it up and make sure it is just perfect.

Not a very old tree by the rings in the wood.
