Tea Time

Caitlyn and I went to Attic Secrets tea room for a mom and daugher date.

We had a yummy lunch too. Caitlyn had a Chicken Caesar salad and I had a Turkey and bacon hot sandwich.

We had fun at lunch. It was very girlie. We went shopping afterwards and bought Caitlyn some new clothes. She got some really cute shirts and a new pair of boots. I did buy Jeremy some new workout clothes. He needed them really bad. Overall it was a great day. Nice and relaxing.

Breaking Dawn

We had so much fun watching Breaking Dawn! Caitlyn and Deborah went with me to buy the movie at midnight. The line was pretty long. They got us thru the archway in about 10 minutes. When we got home Brenda and Karen were waiting for us so we could start the movie. We had popcorn, crackers, pretzels, cookies, sour patch kids and M & M's.

We think this is the delivery truck for the movie at Walmart.

It was a good night. We had a lot of fun. Brenda did sleep thru part of the movie. She just could not keep her eyes open. The rest of us stayed strong. Can't wait for part 2.

October again already??

Just kidding... Caitlyn was doing a play a Cheri's with all the girls and Evan just wanted to be a puppy dog.

First Day of WW points plus

This is what I had for dinner tonight. It was really yummy.

Baked Potatoe with spray butter, salt,pepper and a dash of ranch, Worcestershire chicken and yes those are veggies. I choked them all down and gave it my best shot but I really don't like broccoli and cauliflower.

I did end up going over my points only because my manager bought us pizza for lunch today and that is my weakness. But I thought today was much better than I have been eating.

Caitlyn is sitting next to me eating my leftover ice cream cake from DQ, oh man it looks so good. I think I am ready for bed it's the best way not to eat.

When the sun comes out...

Evan saw the sun today and thought it was a great to swim. I tried to reason with him but he had his heart set on swimming so like a good mom I will humor him...

Beautiful Day

Cleaning out the pool and filling it up.

1st try.. Yes, I said 1st try.

It's cold, I want out

 

WWAAAA... I am cold. I want to go in.

Mom said, "Now Evan are you going to listen to me when I tell you it's too cold to swim?"

Evan said, " Yes, I will listen too you."

Here is the 2nd try...(within about 30 seconds of the 1st try.)

Once more, I am out of here. (no that is not snow on the side of the pool, that is soap from cleaning it.)

Now he is really done. He got dressed and had a picnic lunch on the living room floor.

The joys of being 3 and very stubborn. Always wanting to do the things we want to not what were told. I guess this is a lesson for life.

Family Game Night

The game pieces are Blue(Felicia), Red(Jeremy) and Purple(Caitlyn)...

Jeremy said, "we should play with all primary colors" and I said, "but Blue and Red make Purple". Jeremy said, "that's ironic Blue and Red make Purple and me and mommy made you (to Caitlyn)".

We thought that was funny and so true. See how when you put two great colors together you get an even more beautiful color.

I just love spending time with the family playing games and talking together. It is some really special time to all of us.

My Birthday!!!

This year I am 33. I had a really great birthday. We went to Paraiso for lunch and came back to my house and played games. John, Joy, Bill, Karen, Shaley and Missy even came up from Oregon just for the day and of course Jeremy, Caitlyn and Evan were there too.

The Logo Game. It is so much fun. Lots of trivia. Jeremy is the Grand Master (that's what he calls himself anyway).

I got a calculator (mine just died and it was from when I was in high school) and I got a mini organizer. I also got an Amazon gift card, Michael's gift card, lots of flash drives (for all my pics), snow shovel and oddly enough I got a toilet seat (apparently I needed a new one).

 

An extra special gift from one of my best friends Cheri. A collection of Studio Calico scrapbooking stuff and sweetheart candies my favorite.
