Out with old in with the new old

On June 21, 2011 Jeremy was rear ended and the car was totaled. Jeremy was not hurt at all which was a miracle. I was very thankful that the kids were not with him either. It kinda sucked but was a blessing in disguise. I have been wanting a new van for awhile but since we had two functioning cars it did not make sense. Then we were down to one. We looked for a truck because Jeremy really wanted one but it just want in the cards for us. Now the van was. I am so thankful. I cannot wait to take it on a road trip and test it out. Soon enough, maybe when we go to Disneyland!!!

By the way the kids love it too. If you could not tell.

Evan's Birthday

Evan had a pool party again this year. The weather was just beautiful. Lots of friends and family joined for the fun. Evan got lots of toys that he just loves. His legos are his favorite. Not a day goes by that he does not play with them for at least a few minutes. His new clothes have really come in handy with the nice weather we have been having.

I cannot believe he is 3 already!! They grow so fast.

Spring Has Sprung

Today we got a real taste of spring. It was such a beautiful day we spent most of the day outside in the sun. I even got a sunburn on the back of my legs. I took a short nap on the lawn. I cannot wait for some more beautiful days.

SPRING BREAK- Zoo, Kidd Valley and Space Needle

On March 28th we went to the Woodland Park Zoo, Kidd Valley for dinner and then the Space Needle for fun. We brought along the neighbor girl Michala (she is moving to Marysville as I write, so sad). We had lots of fun with the animals at the zoo and it did not rain on us at all. Then we ate at Kidd Valley and the burgers and fries we wonderful. Then we decided to go the Space Needle and the girls of course needed a Space Needle souvenier that was quite spendy and evan got a little robot toy. Then on our way home we got Blizzards from Dairy Queen just to top off the day. We left our house at 9am and did not get home until 8pm. Long but fun day. I hope the rest of Spring Break is fun.

Happy Birthday Dr.Suess

Today was Dr. Suess' birthday. This is the 2nd year I have made Green Eggs and Ham for the kids for breakfast. Last year Evan was not ready to experience the green eggs but this year he was all for it. Sometimes it's the little things that make the day great.
